Everything was good, very very helpful staff, absolutely stunning views of the sea. The bed in my well-appointed and good quality room was extra large. This modern and relaxing hotel had a central setting on top of a hill. I stayed here for a weekend and will certainly stay here again.

The facilities at this place are top-notch, with stunning views, comfortable rooms, and excellent hosts. The food, especially the evening meal, was amazing. The breakfast was also delicious with high-quality ingredients. The hosts are accommodating and easy to talk to. The WiFi is reliable, and they even make delicious chocolates. The hot tub, although I didn't use it, was loved by other guests. a great place to stay for people who appreciate karaoke and casinos.
Felt very welcome, no reason to complain.

The location was perfect, with easy access to Archerfield golf course and the center of Edinburgh. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, with a comfortable bed and a well-equipped bathroom. The service was top-notch, with friendly and knowledgeable hosts who made me feel right at home. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, made with fresh ingredients. The views from the lodge were breathtaking, overlooking the stunning countryside. The facilities, including a hot tub, added an extra touch of luxury to my stay.
That the walls were a bit thin, causing some noise disturbances.

We got incredible value for our money at this hidden gem in the Lothian hills. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and the bed was super comfortable. The location was breathtaking with stunning views of the ocean and hills. The staff was welcoming, knowledgeable, and made us feel right at home.
The food for breakfast could have been improved by offering cloth-style napkins instead of little paper ones.

The rooms were beautifully decorated and spotless, with comfortable beds and thoughtful touches like complimentary whiskey flights and handmade chocolates. The breakfast/dining room had stunning views of the surrounding area, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. the hosts were incredibly attentive and went out of their way to ensure a perfect stay.
There was limited soundproofing in the rooms, which caused some disturbances from noise coming from other guests. there was an issue when we requested a tee time change for golf, resulting in a rude and aggressive response from the owner, ultimately leading to an unpleasant experience.

My husband and I stayed at Garleton Lodge for one night and were impressed with the fantastic views and relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Angela and David, the owners, were excellent hosts and the food was plentiful and delicious. We loved the BBQ hut and the reasonably priced wine list, as well as David's interesting whiskies. The room was very comfortable with patio doors that opened onto a deck with a great view over the Forth to Fife. We didn't have time to use the outdoor hot tub, but other guests raved about it.
Would recommend this hotel.

Comfortable room, good shower, complimentary whisky and coffee, but disappointed by £5 charge for unclaimed drink. Beautiful surroundings, high standard rooms, with thoughtful touches like handmade chocolates. Delicious, freshly cooked breakfast. Owners went out of their way to source a forgotten wedding item. Exceptional quality and welcoming staff. Excellent food.

This hotel is a luxurious paradise! From the moment I walked in, I felt pampered by the exceptional service. The Spa center is outstanding, offering incredible massages and beauty treatments. The Jacuzzi is pure bliss, and the sun terrace and garden area complement the exclusive amenities perfectly. The restaurant serves delicious food, with special diet menus available, and the bar/lounge area is the perfect spot for a nightcap. My favorite part of this hotel was the private facilities in my room, including a beautiful treatment room. I could not have asked for a better experience.
The location. Although the views were breathtaking, this hotel is a little farther from the attractions than I would have liked.

Breakfast choices could be improved with more variety.
